Hi everyone!

Nowadays, my experience using blog for the English class has been very good since I have never been good at English, I have always had a hard time learning it, but lately I feel that I have developed a lot my way of writing in this language, and at the same time I have learned the meaning of many words that I didn’t know before, also thanks to read the blogs of the other partners I have been able to develop my reading.

My favorite blog has been the one that talks about my favorite music band, since I was able to express all the admiration I have for my favorite artist, on the contrary, the worst was the one that talked about my favorite subject since I felt that I had to force myself to write about some things since none of them like me enough to write about.

What made it difficult was that I had to do more things for University and it took me a while to do it, so I would have liked blogs to be every other week (although that is more of a personal appreciation than a problem with the program).

In the future I would like write about my favorite actors, movies or books since are topics more interesting and they are easier to write than others.

Hi! good afternoon again, today I am going to talk about my favorite place to have a good time

It is “Cerro La Campana”, during the holidays I usually go trekking since doing that relaxes me a lot, and the place where I like to practice is in Cerro la Campana.

I like it a lot because it is a very quiet place and the view is beautiful as there is a lot of nature everywhere, I also like it because I feel at peace with myself and I don´t think about anything, I only feel the sound of wind and insects.

The first time I went there I was fourteen years old, I went with my sister, at that time we didn´t complete the whole trip, we only arrived at a part of the path until “La Mina”.

Then I started to go more often alone or with my friends, getting higher and higher along the path, finally I reached the top of the mountain. The view was wonderful, I was happy to see that beautiful place (and at the same time I cried in the inside for all that it would take me to go down the mountain XD).

Nowadays I have not had time to go, but I try to go during the holidays (winter or summer) as many times as I can.

Hi, everyone today I will talk about my favorite subject in my major this year, however, it is not the only one I like.

My favorite subject this year is “Bases científicas y clínicas para el diagnóstico 1" (Scientific and clinic bases for the Diagnosis 1). I like it because it covers four different topics: physiology, biochemistry, microbiology and pathology. All of them are very interesting because they allow me to understand most of the processes that occur in the human body but seen from different areas of knowledge, so I can understand better the contents since they are all related to each other. I have also noticed that I like it a lot because I don`t get bored when I studying it, even if I have to read a lot of material.

I also like it because it is a mixture of all the things I liked last year: histology, chemistry and anatomy.

Another reason why I like the subject is for the teachers, since they maintain a constant communication with the students to know the difficulties that everyone has regarding the subject or to agree when doing the exam calendar, what makes the process much more pleasant.

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a good night. Today I'll talk about someone that I admire a lot in my career, her name is Andrea Paula Lima and she has a PhD in Biological Chemistry from the University of Rio de Janeiro. She was my Biological Bases teacher last year and is currently my evidence-based dentistry teacher. I don’t know so much about her life but since I have known her, I admire her a lot because she is a very intelligent, beautiful, charismatic and humble woman who at her young age has carried out many important research projects, one of them is based on a project that could improve the future of therapies for those who are in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease.

Currently she plans to verify the benefits of an antioxidant in people with mild amnestic-type cognitive impairment.

In 2017, she was chosen as the best young scientist by the Chilean Academy of Sciences. She is my role model as a person, even if she isn’t a dentist.

Hi everyone, tonight I will talk about my favorite musical styles!

During the course of my life I have listened to all kinds of music, reggaetón, ballads, pop, rock and metal, but the ones I liked the most so far are rock and metal.

I started listening to those musical styles when I was 14 years old, since one of my best friends was a big fan of that kind of music, so he transmitted his tastes to me (also in those days I used to play a lot of Guitar Hero, so my love by Metal and Rock increased xD) and to this day are my favorite musical styles.

My favorite band is Slipknot, it is an American band of Alternative Metal and Heavy Metal, whose main feature is that each of its members uses a mask which is modified when they release new albums but always keeping their own essence. With them I spent most of my highschool. On September 30th, 2015 was their concert in Chile, but my mom wouldn’t let me attend because I was very young (also because it was in Santiago, far from my home back then) and to this day I’m sad for that, because many members have left the band and I could not see them when the majority of its members were still :(.

Other bands that I also listen to are Bullet for my Valentine, System of a Down, Disturbed, Scorpions, Europe, Journey, among others!

Good night everyone!  the topic that I want to talk about today is about the picture of my graduation party, where all my friends from high school are, so it is a very special picture for me, since they form a very important part of my life. Also, the moments I lived during the high school were pleasant because my course was very close so I had a good relationship with all my classmates. The picture was taken by my best friend's mother.

The graduation party was on December of the year 2017, there were many bad and funny things to tell, like for example, the day of the big night I met with my best friend before the gala to go to a beauty salon, where they left us very bad hair! But despite all that it was an excellent day and I will not forget it in all my life!

Hi everyone! Now I will talk to you about my pets.

During the course of my life I have had five pets, dogs mainly because in my home it was not permitted to have more kind of animals, My first pet was a Dog, its name was “Rocky”, he lived in my home before I was born, then my Father found other dog on the street and we adopted it, we called it “Clifort”. Rocky died when I was nine years old and two month later died Clifort… I don´t know the reason yet.

When I was twelve years old, My sister gave me other dog, she called it “Lulú”, she had puppies and we adopted one of them, we called it “Osa”.

When I was fifteen years old, my sister and I bought a guinea pig in the fair, with the hope that our parents would permit us to have it, at first they refused to have the guinea pig but then they accepted it. I called it “Mime” (because I didn´t know if it was male or female xd).

Currenly I have three pets: Mime, Osa and Lulú and I love them.

Hi everyone! Now I will talk to you about my favorite piece of technology.

My favorite piece of technology is my cellphone. A cellphone is a device which you can call and communicate with other people, you can play videogames with it, listen to music and other things!

I have had many cellphones in my life, the first time that I got a cellphone was when I was eight years old, they were called “brick cellphones”.

Nowadays, I use my cellphone to listen to music, communicate with my family, friends and partners; and to study.  I use my cellphone approximately five hours a day, I use it when I have time, because the university doesn’t allow me to use it for a long time.

I like my cellphone because with it I can do many things! I can play a videogame when I´m bored, I can use social networks like Facebook or WhatsApp  communicate with my friends and distract myself a moment, also I can study the subjects of my major, and other things.

Nowadays I believe that I depend a lot of my cellphone, if I didn´t have my cellphone I would be very bored and I couldn´t organize my time.

When I was a child, at first I dreamed to be a veterinarian because I love animals, then I  liked the idea of being a doctor,  finally at age fourteen I decided to study dentistry since my older sister studied this, and I saw her working every day and I liked that.  

When I decided, I dreamed of studing at Universidad de Chile university, therefore I tried to encourage myself a lot at high school and have the best marks.

Finally I applied only to dentistry in two universities: Universidad de Chile university and  Universidad de Valparaiso university, and I got my first choice!

My experience at university until now has been good and I like a lot my major, but the stress has been enormous.

When I finish my major I would like to work for a while in the public service and in a clinic as a general dentist , but then I would want to continue studying to specialize me, because I would like to be a maxillofacial surgeon or implantologist.

Hi, my full name is Natalia Belén Contreras Arancibia, but most of my friend call me Nati or Natu, I´m nineteen years old, my birthday is on July 9^th, I usually  celebrate it with my parents and friends. I studied my elementary at Santa Filomena School and finished my highschool at José Cortés Brown. 

Currently I`m studing dentistry at Universidad de Chile university, it is my second year in the major. I was born in Viña del Mar, but now I`m living in Santiago with my older sister because my university is here.

Regarding my family, my mother`s name is Jessica and my Father`s name is Guillermo, they live in Viña del Mar and I visit them every weekend. I have two older sisters, one nephew and one niece.

About my Hobbies, what I like doing most in my free time is reading and doing sports, but nowadays I don`t have time to do that. In holidays I like to go trekking in La Campana hill.
